Mall food? This place could get away with saying they're a 4 star restaurant! :P
Seriously though, I love the food here and the service! Mall food is generally really gross, but Bourbon Grill tastes amazing! Their chicken is the best and I have a hard time deciding what I want every time I come here because I want everything! The service is always so nice and friendly :) and they're also really generous with the portions (which never happen with mall food or university food :P) The prices are also great!
Give this place a try if you're going to Masonville Mall during meal hours! -

For mall Chinese food this place is incredible!! 10x better than Manchu wok, every meat is so tasty and always Cooked right, noodles are so flavourful. Honestly, can't take a trip to white oaks anymore without trying this place

I think it's one of the better places in the food court.
I like the bourbon chicken and it's a pretty good portion.
I also like black pepper beef. They don't give you as much sometimes. It just depends how generous the server is feeling.
It's not always on get menu but they can usually do a meat and 1 veg mini combo for about $6 if you ask. -

Look Food Court Food is what it is, it's not going to win any James Beard awards anytime in the next century but it's a necessary evil when you are out and about and need a quick bite. Today we were at Masonville a little before the lunch hour which meant some places weren't open or were still serving breakfast menus. While I'm a big supporter of breakfast anywhere anyhow anytime.... today I was feeling the need for lunch items.
Walking by the usual suspects I stopped at Bourbon Street Grill who's items looked fresh, hot and most importantly: ready. So I decided why not, I didn't know them at all, and they looked similar to the neighboring Manchu, Koya and Thai Express which I was familiar with so I knew what I was in for.
They offer three main combo platters. Combo 1: One Meat, One Veg, Rice or Noodle. Combo 2: One Meat, Two Veg, Rice or Noodle. Combo 3: Two Meats, One Veg, Rice or Noodle. I opted for number three because well... meat. I took rice, green beans, bourbon chicken and honey glazed chicken. The rice was your standard sub-par fried rice with frozen peas & carrots within them, the glazed chicken the usual suspect of breaded then corn starched and glazed.
The star of the dish was the bourbon chicken which was cubed rotisserie style sweetly roasted meat. It had to battle for first though with the garlic buttery green beans which were also great. All and all, glad I tried something new and for what it was... pretty darn good. I'd get them again. -

This is probably my favourite place to eat. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I'm there often enough that the manager always recognizes me and we chat every time I see him. Overall, I recommend this place to everybody I know.
